Reviewing images of photo captures
and earlier paintings helps as I develop
the content for the show.
A rough floor plan of the gallery
space with canvas sizes, content
and hanging ideas in mind.
Marking up the photo selections
with target canvas dimensions plus
an alphabetical code that links them
to the gallery floor plan helps to keep
the process organized.
All photo selections need to be
cropped proportionately in order
to translate well to their target
These canvases have now been gessoed
as well as marked up with canvas size
and alphabetical code information for
placement in the show.
This can help me achieve the affect
I am looking for at times when brushes
would feel too limiting.
Furry Art Patron
Spotty keeps me company
in the studio and once in awhile
he stops to look at what I have
been working on.
